The Beautiful ‘B’ Family at Beale AFB ~ {Rocklin Family Photographer}
November 11, 2011 – 5:25 pm
I had so much fun with this family! I met them prior to our session to scout out the location, so this gave me a great chance to get to know these adorable girls before we started shooting.

I was standing in the water for this shot, but it was so worth it. This family was willing to do anything for a great portrait!

Down by the river ~ Auburn, Ca Senior Portraits
January 12, 2011 – 1:49 am
I haven’t been down to the Confluence in Auburn with a client for quite a while. It was so much fun! This family loves the outdoors, so hanging out on the trail and near the water was perfect for them. The mom is one of our well loved librarians and I was so happy to photograph her son and daughter for their senior portraits.
Okay, I am not kidding when I say this family knows how to have FUN together. They made me LAUGH. I get such a kick out of families that are goofy together.
We couldn’t have asked for a better prop than this one.
I have always wanted to photograph someone on this bridge over the river. Luckily, we had plenty of family members to be on the lookout for traffic.

Thanks, A Family!
Have I Told You Lately? ~ Roseville Family Photographer & Roseville Maternity Photographer
December 9, 2010 – 8:48 pm
This is the song that I was listening to while editing this family’s images. Click the link here —->Have I Told You Lately by Van Morrison I think it fits this family perfectly! They were crazy in love with each other. I drove home with a smile on my face after watching them hug and kiss and simply enjoy each other.
I knew we were doing good when this was the first picture out of my camera that day.
These lucky kids are just blossoming with their mom and dad’s love.
Their lovely au pair came along to join in the fun too.
I LOVE this one. It completely cracks me up how she is so sweetly cuddling up to him and he is just not having it.
We did a family session combined with a maternity session. I never knew how well it could work to have the kids tag along during maternity portraits. I think they made the images that much more “real”.
This is one of my all time favorite images. We didn’t plan it this way, but isn’t this how life goes with kids? You plan something romantic and then the kids come in and make it their own. Ha!
Lovely end to a lovely evening! This family has since welcomed their baby. Welcome to the world, Isabella!
Rainbow Baby Ella ~Newborn Photography in Roseville, Ca
October 6, 2010 – 1:22 pm
I had the most wonderful opportunity to meet with a friend that I’ve only known online over the last several months. Juliet and her husband, Ben, welcomed their first child, a son named Lachlan, last April. He lived for only eight days but was shown a lifetime of love during that short time. Lachlan touched so many hearts, during his life and after, and will never be forgotten.
In the babyloss community, babies born after a loss are often referred to as “rainbow babies”. Last month, Ben and Juliet welcomed their rainbow baby, Ella, into the world. I was SO happy to be able to spend a day with them and photograph Lachlan’s little sister. And can I mention that their Australian accents were delightful!

She is such a serene mother, quietly loving and adoring her baby.

Ella’s Daddy is every bit as loving and tender with her.

She slept so good for me!

I think it’s very evident that Ella will have no shortage of love! ![]()

I always love creative crops but this one is just my very favorite. I love all the body language.

Ben and Juliet, thank you so much for welcoming me into your home. I’m honored to call you both friends.

Sisters~ {Nevada City Child Photographer}
July 19, 2010 – 1:42 am
What is it about sisters that makes me feel all happy inside? Maybe because I waited 20 years to become a big sister! I LOVE watching and photographing sisters. *sigh*

I love how the older girls are trying so hard to keep the little one happy but their patience is wearing thin. haha

And the whole family!
